I am an interdisciplinary artist who has crossed over into freelance illustration, performance, floristry, painting and writing. I am a self-taught visual artist. I have also worked and collaborated in theatre-making projects as a performer, dramaturg, and contributing to writing/editing/chroeographic processes. I toured as a performer in the first stage adaptation of a Studio Ghibli film ‘Princess Mononoke’, as well as winning an Edinburgh Fringe First with the radical theatre company ‘Breach’ on ‘Tank’ in 2016. I hold an MA in ‘Ensemble Theatre’ from Rose Bruford Theatre, and studied ‘English and Theatre Studies’ at Warwick University. I have also pursued various trainings in different acting practices, embodiment techniques and body perspectives; from Meisner training to butoh workshops, cranio-sacral therapy, to authentic voice workshops.

I have been interested in the body politic and how in confronting taboos we can reconnect on a deeper introspective and respect-full level. I triumph this through personal investigation and unwinding automatic images that playfully confront boundaries whilst also working with a fierce spontaneity that disallows judgement- this has lead to work like ‘Period Art’ and ‘Transcendental Archaeologist’.

‘Period Art’ hopes to open a playful discussion through subverting the very materiality of Menstruation and playing with it as you would with ink - with its viscosity and texture. Through the process of making ‘Period Art’ it allowed me to organically confront issues of contraception, gender perception and the point of art. Please email for print enquiries.

Through my work I champion process over product; often allowing for a process involving controlled accidents where the media inspires the language of the images. It is a style and process that has come about due to my interests in ‘active imagination’ and esoteric reflective tools such as Tarot.

I am also a facilitator; I have run workshops and performance research sessions in 'Illustrative Massage’ and ‘Pussy Printing’. I assisted in facilitating a workshop at a ‘Women in Business’ conference at the Warwick Business school that incorporated image association as a vehicle for talking about gender gaps. I have also volunteered as an art teacher in Morocco and currently work as a creative workshop facilitator in language learning environments in Barcelona.
